Sunday Message

Good day to everyone,

Sorry I’m late getting this out but life has been very busy the last few weeks and going to get busier in the next month it appears.

First of all we would like to embrace all our new members from Arkansas and Pennsylvania. Terry Altmeyer, Bill Moore, Logan Ryan, Debbie Ryan, Steve Chase, welcome.

There is a great passage in the word in the Book of Luke. “When He had said this, He went on ahead, going up to Jerusalem. And it came to pass, when He came near to Bethphage and Bethany, at the mountain called Olivet, that He sent two of His disciples, saying, "Go into the village opposite you, where as you enter you will find a colt tied, on which no one has ever sat. Loose it and bring it here.

"And if anyone asks you, 'Why are you loosing it?' thus you shall say to him, 'Because the Lord has need of it.'" So those who were sent went their way and found it just as He had said to them.

But as they were loosing the colt, the owners of it said to them, "Why are you loosing the colt?" And they said, "The Lord has need of him."

Then they brought him to Jesus. And they threw their own clothes on the colt, and they set Jesus on him.” Luke 19:28-35

What an attitude! If the Lord needs it, I'll offer it. If the Lord wants it, I'll do it. No questions asked. No explanation needed. No hesitation found. We've seen a rich young man turn back from following because the Lord asked him something he wouldn't do.

This is not the case here. "The Lord needs it!" Such a simple request was met with an equally simple response , no words, just compliance. Little did he know that his act of submission and obedience to Jesus' need would bring about such a glorious event the Triumphal Entry that is described in the following verses. So the question each of us needs to ask today is this: "What does the Lord need from me?" May our response be the same as the unnamed owner of the colt.

Lord …. Do what is necessary to keep it soft and responsive to your will. May I always be open to whatever your Son needs of me. May I respond without hesitation. Most of all, may you be glorified and your Kingdom be served in my willingness to obey.
Ride safe my friends and God bless and keep you guided in His light !!

Sunday Message

Good Day,

These days, we are faced along with our children with every form of temptation that the world has to offer right through our TV sets, Radio or even walking down the street...you might say we have become used to it over time.
There is an old saying that if you put a frog in a pot of warm water and slowly turn up the heat it will not know it's cooked until it's to late. John talks about “Lovers of darkness” in the verse below.

"And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. (John 3:19 NKJV)

Some people don't just reject Jesus; they hate God, Christianity, religion, Christians, and anything that smacks of wholesome living. Evil is real and controls the lives of those who give it safe harbor. Evil recoils from truth.

Too often, people not fully controlled by evil end up rejecting the truth of God for a simple reason; they love how they are living and don't want to give it up, we see that at bike rallies all the time.

They are well on their way to being lovers of darkness. Don't let the opposition of evil, or of the Evil One, dull your spiritual senses to God's love and liberating truth. If you find yourself flirting with sin and evil, use the Joseph solution, get up and run like hell!

When evil is allowed a place to grow, it will ultimately lead us to run from the light like cockroaches scurrying for cover when the light comes on. Let's keep our hearts set on Jesus and his righteousness.

Father, keep our hearts tuned to your Son's grace, love, and righteousness. Make me hunger and thirst for your righteousness. Rekindle our desire to seek first your Kingdom and your righteousness. Give us a holy passion to live in your light. In Jesus' holy and mighty name I pray. Amen !!

God Bless and have a great week

Sunday Message

Dear Sisters & Brothers,

It has been a cold week here in Utah, God bless my Wife Debbie for digging in and shoveling the 9 inches of snow from the driveway for me before I got home, man Wives what would we do without their love and kindness in our lives.

Their will not be a Sunday Message next week as I’m off to warmer weather about 260 miles South of here to a training conference in St.George for a week learning new Building Codes.

Speaking of that special love between a Husband and Wife… what about Gods love for all of us as it says in the book of John.

"For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. (John 3:16 NKJV)

This is the highest expression of love of which we can conceive. A parent who should give up his only son to die for others who are guilty if this could or might be done would show higher love than could be manifested in any other way. It really shows the depth of the love of God, that he was willing to give his only Son into the hands of sinful men that he might hang on a Cross and endure so much pain, and thus redeem us from eternal sorrow.

YES God LOVES US ! That is the greatest message we will ever hear. Thankfully, however, this is not just a message in words. God wanted us to know his love for us, so he demonstrated that love at great personal cost. God loves us! We know that because he gave his Son for us. God loves us! He didn't want the power of "perish" to claim us, so he gave us the power of his love. God loves us! He sacrificed so we could have life. God loves us! Don't ever doubt it. Don't let the evil one rob you of this life-giving truth. God loves you and wants to give you life!

You know just maybe we or someone we know have fallen away over time, this is a good day for restore your first love and renew that feeling that you once had or could have.

Father, I believe that you gave Jesus to save me from my sins. I confess that I cannot fully understand that love, but I thank you and praise you with all of my heart. Please forgive me when my life does not reflect your loving estimation of my worth.

Give me strength to believe what you say about me. I place my full trust in your love to continue its transformational work of redemption in me. Thank you that you are making me better than I am right now. Thank you even more for saving me from my sin and giving me life with you.

In Jesus' name. Amen.

God Bless and have a great week

MDMM Message

Dear Brothers and Sister,

Well another snowy week here in Utah and yes the bikes are still in the garage. Debbie and I did get out last week to Salt Lake to see Toby Keith and Joe Nichols in concert and it was good even with a case of the flu.

We would like to welcome some new members from Arkansas this week, Bill Moore from Ft. Smith, Logan & Debbie Ryan from Van Buren and Steve & Sheila Chase also from Ft.Smith. We also have news that the forming Chapter is Australia is moving along great and recently attended a bike rally over there AWESOME !!

We would like to ask you all to keep Joyce Arriola in your prayers. She is a Dear friend of Steve’s in Pennsylvania and fellow believer who just notified Yesterday that she has been battling intestinal cancer for about 2 months now.

Also please also keep Steve’s son Nathanial in your prayers as next Wednesday he willbe going back into the hospital for evaluation to see if he will need a feeding tube. Today he turns 6 months and still only weighs 9-1/2 pounds. He is not eating well.

This week we will see the affects Jesus had on a man named Nicodemus who was a Pharisee and a religious leader. Nicodemus asks Jesus what it means to be "born again."

Jesus replied, "I assure you, unless you are born again, you can never see the Kingdom of God." John 3:3

Jesus pretty much tells Nicodemus, a religious ruler and a righteous man, that he must start over. Not only that, he tells him he must have a fresh start that only God can bring about. He must be reborn. This is no longer a theological discussion, but a personal one; "...unless YOU are born again..."

But more than just being born "again," Jesus is telling Nicodemus that he must be born "from above" or "born of God." Another human birth, another birth by human efforts and origins, simply can't accomplish what is necessary for him to be a part of God's Kingdom.

This something that the best of the best can't accomplish for himself. Good won't cut it. Only God can make the grade and only God can make this birth happen. Can we hear that? Oh yes, because in our heart of hearts, we all know we don't measure up.

Deep down, we know that only God's grace and the power of the Holy Spirit can make us God's holy children.

Nicodemus defends Jesus during a proceeding involving religious leaders. And he cooperates with Joseph of Arimathea in the burial of Jesus.

In closing Father, thank you for not only providing the sacrifice for my sins in Jesus, but also for providing the birth that makes me your holy child. By grace and in the name of Jesus I pray. Amen !!

Respectfully,

Daily Bread

Give us this day our daily bread.I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread. His bread shall be given him; his waters shall be sure. The ravens brought him bread and flesh in the morning, and bread and flesh in the evening; and he drank of the brook. My God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus. Be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.He humbled thee, and suffered thee to hunger, and fed thee with manna, ... that he might make thee know that man doth not live by bread only, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the Lord doth man live. Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Moses gave you not that bread from heaven; but my Father giveth you the true bread from heaven. For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world. Then said they unto him, Lord, evermore give us this bread.Matt. 6:11. Ps. 37:25. Isa. 33:16. 1 Kings 17:6. Phil. 4:19. Heb. 13:5. Deut. 8:3. John 6:32-34.

Fall Ride

The view from atop Mt.Nebo with the Fall colors was great !! God has provided us with such awesome beauty at 9,000 feet. The sad news is that the snow will come soon and we will have to but the bikes away for the winter.

Weeks Message

How many times have you run across people who tell you, I can not be saved because I have sinned too much in the past for God to ever love and forgive me?God is not looking for perfection on this side of Heaven. He knew we could never do it. That is why He sent Jesus to pay for our sins. What He is looking for is a heart that desires to please Him. We are promised that, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness" as it says in 1st  John 1:9.I could say that I don't sin, but then I would be lying! There is no way that a person could live free of sin. Pride, selfishness, deceit, greed, lack of faith, or lust...all of those things are sin. But, remember, sin is not always what you do wrong; it is also what you fail to do right. Sin includes the needs around you that you ignore.  It is the neighbor to whom you have not witnessed to, it is the sick friend whose children you have not offered to baby-sit.It says in Romans 3:23 "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of  God". Yes all of us have fallen short of His Glory and plans for our lives. It says in 1st John 1:10  "If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His word is not in us".Yes even though we are saved, live a Christian life we sometimes fall short of His will and His plans for us in our lives. You see while we are here on earth we are in constant battle with the flesh.Whoa Cowboy !! That’s pretty heavy stuff your saying! Well let us ponder a bit and see, remember that rally you went to a few years ago, you saw that brand new shinny bike and slobbered all over it wishing in was yours and not that that ugly guy who was riding it, well thou shalt not convent.Remember seeing that girl who looked like Britney Spears walking down main street wearing only sweater bumper stars and the smallest thong you ever saw.  Yes that one she reminded you of your high school or college heart throb. In Matthew 5:27-28 "You have heard that it was said to those of old, 'You shall not commit adultery.' "But I say to you that whoever looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.Wow that means if we think it in our minds we have committed the act in our hearts, and that results in SIN.In Isaiah  1:18 "Come now, and let us reason together," Says the LORD, "Though your sins are like scarlet, They shall be as white as snow; Though they are red like crimson, They shall be as wool.   Wow what a promise we have here, the key here is even though we may fall short and fall into sin if we taken it to the Cross and ask forgiveness Jesus is faithful and just and will forgive our shortcomings.Greatest sin the Bible tells us is found in Matthew 22:36 "Teacher, which is the great commandment in the law?" Mat 22:37 Jesus said to him, " 'You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.'In closing we ask for your prayers and help for all those affected in the Gulf States region some people have lost loved ones, homes and jobs with this disaster. God Bless and have a great week.
